How it works
From the first sound to the sentence that comes on its own.
Understanding a word and saying it without thinking are two different skills. Maestro's method is the road between them: four layers of work, each with its own tool.
01
Articulation
The mouth as an instrument
Every hard sound comes with a physical instruction: tongue tip behind the lower teeth, lips in a funnel, jaw open one finger. The studio cards give these cues together with an example you can hear.
Then come minimal pairs and tongue twisters: sje against tje, «mata» against «matta», «pala» against «palla». At first you think about the position; after a few weeks of repetition the mouth finds it on its own.
02
The lesson
One shared desk
In the live lesson, teacher and student see the same text. The teacher highlights a hard cluster, plays the reference audio or starts the pronunciation coach: the student records, and both hear the take and see the pitch curve.
The pair's notebook stays open beside the video. Words and phrases noted in the lesson flow into the student's daily practice, with no copying into another app.
03
Between lessons
Practice out loud
Home study is done by speaking. You listen to dialogues, read them and perform them; words come back at growing intervals and have to be said, not just recognised.
We repeat whole phrases of four to six words, because in conversation words arrive joined up: «Kjell skär köttet i köket», not «kött» on its own.

Getting started
Where you begin
The level test is free, takes about ten minutes and gives you a CEFR level. With an account you can try the first levels of every studio and hear sample recordings.
The full course, with audio and the pronunciation coach, opens when you join a teacher through an invitation. During the private beta, lessons are arranged directly with your teacher.
Start at your level.
Ten minutes of testing, then pick a language and try the studio.
